And another Progress Picture for Lightning! The whole thing is finally coming together quite nicely and perfectly!!


Pieces Added from last Progress Pic: Pouldrons Attached, Vinyl Fabric for Romani Skirt and Pieces Added, and Thigh Armor


It took me extra long to get a progress pic because it took me over 20 hours alone to use Rub'n'Buff on every piece of the armor! >.<



I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures!!

Wow this is looking amazing! You are a master o.o I really want to make Lightning's armor for myself but I've never made any armor cosplay before >.< Do you have any tips at all on how to make it so wonderfully?

well this is only my second time trying to make armor believe it or not >.< but its almost like its my first time because I used completely different materials for Lightning's armor compared to the last armor i did! But what tips i would give you is to layout all the seperate pieces and make them out of paper first :) and be confident in what youre doing because there is always a way to fix things in the end ^^ and i used craft foam for this armor! [link] i somewhat used this tutorial except for like... lol half if i made up my own stuff which worked just as fine ^^
